Q: Something came up and I can't attend an event as originally planned. Can I be refunded?
A: Unfortunately, no. PAATA does not offer or issue refunds for events or merchandise products.
Q: What if I purchased a ticket at a "member rate" but my PAATA membership has lapsed?
A: You must be a PAATA member at the time of the event, unless otherwise indicated, in order to be eligible for a ticket at the member rate (either professional or student tier). We understand that oversights can happen. Our Membership Chair routinely cross-references ticket purchases with our current membership list. If there is a discrepancy between the ticket type selected and your membership status, you will receive an email with instructions on how to resolve the issue. Please note: Failure to follow the provided instructions in a timely manner may result in denied entry to the event.
Q: When will I receive the Zoom link for a virtual event?
A: Our Events Team typically sends the Zoom link for each event twice: once midweek leading up to the event, and again the night before, after ticket sales have closed and the membership status of registrants has been confirmed. If you have not received the Zoom link by the morning of the event - and have already checked your spam or junk folder - please contact us promptly at [email protected] with "Urgent" in the subject line.
Q: How do I make sure I get my CE hours and certificate?
A: PAATA has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6847. PAATA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. Any programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit will be clearly identified. The number of Continuing Education (CE) clock hours offered for each program is specified in the program materials. Please note that partial credit is not available.

A: We strive to process certificates as efficiently as possible. Please allow up to two weeks from the post-session survey deadline for your certificate to be issued.
