For smooth virtual events we suggest: *Please ensure a strong and reliable internet connection, and close unnecessary tabs to increase available bandwidth. *Please mute yourself when not speaking to minimize background noise for your fellow attendees. *Please dress appropriately if you plan to have your camera on, and be mindful of your background. *Recording of any PAATA events by attendees is strictly prohibited.
Q: Something came up and I can't attend an event as originally planned. Can I be refunded? A: Unfortunately, no. PAATA does not offer or issue refunds for our Events or other products.
Q: What if I purchased a ticket at a Member rate but my PAATA Membership has lapsed? A: You must be a PAATA Member *at the time of the event unless otherwise indicated* in order to be eligible for a ticket at the Member Rate (either Professional or Student tier). We know that sometimes these things get away from us. Our Membership Chair always cross references our ticket purchases with Membership lists. If there is a discrepancy between the ticket type you ordered and your Membership status, you will receive an email from us and instructions about how to rectify the issue. Please note: If you do not follow the rectification instructions within a timely manner, you will not receive admittance into the event in question.
Q: When will I receive the Zoom link for a virtual Event? A: Our Events team generally will send out the Zoom link for the Event twice prior to the Event: once mid week leading up to the Event, and again the night before the Event after ticket sales have ended and Membership status of new registrants has been verified. If you do not have the Zoom link for the event the morning of the Event and have double checked your spam folder, please email us at email@example.com with an Urgent subject line.
Q: How do I make sure I get my CE hours and Certificate? A: The Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6847.Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.The Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.The number of Continuing Education clock hours available for each program is clearly identified in program material. Partial credits are not available. The NBCC has clear guidelines PAATA is required to follow as an Approved Continuing Education Provider: 1. We cannot provide you a Certificate if you do not attend the Event in its entirety, or if we cannot verify that you remained present throughout the entire Event. 2. We cannot provide you a Certificate if your name on Zoom does not match the name you registered with, or is not clear (i.e. "Zoom User", "iPad", "arttherapistX123", etc.) 3. We cannot provide you a Certificate if you do not complete and return the required Post Session Survey by the deadline, or if your name is not on the survey, or if the name on the survey does not match the Zoom username under which you attended the Event.
Q: I met all of the CE requirements for an Event, when will I receive my Certificate? A: We do our best to work quickly and efficiently. Please give us 2 weeks from the deadline to return the Post Session Survey to send out your Certificate. If you still have not received it, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with "Certificate" in the subject line.
