- Publish quarterly in PAATA newsletter on topic of choice or delegate this task.
- Provide input for programming and timely response to PAATA communications.
- Attend monthly PAATA Board meetings.
- Participate in programming and events as able including the annual conference and business meeting.

- Lead process of publicizing PAATA, the field of Art Therapy and PAATA activities/events to appropriate parties/organizations.
- Maintain updated correspondence with AATA regarding PAATA programming as needed.
- Promote and moderate PAATA events on the website, social media and/or delegate this task. Update social media on a weekly basis.
- Compose and distribute a press release for each conference and for other significant events deemed appropriate by the Board.
- Organize and email E-News to the membership at a minimum of once per month.
- Maintain a current PAATA brochure to hand out at PAATA functions and to send to appropriate parties/organizations as needed.
- Coordinate Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association sponsored events throughout the year with the assistance of the board:
- The Annual Conference
- Annual member business meeting
- Any additional event(s) such as a Continuing Education (CE), networking, and social
- If a Co-chair is not available within the first year of the Events Chair’s term to assist in organizing events, a second-year board member will assist.
- Coordinate with the President/President-Elect in applying for credit for continuing education events and the final processing of these events.
- Form and oversee event subcommittees.
- Assist PR in creating brochures & flyers for events.
- Arrange and reserve rooms, A/V equipment & art supplies as needed for events or delegate this task.
- Complete and distribute continuing education certificates or delegate this task.
Jobs Research Chair:
- Conduct an online search for employment opportunities in PA, NJ, and DE. Post updated jobs research report to the member’s only section of the website every 7 – 10 days and remove it after 30 days.
- Post to the member’s only section the available employment opportunities that are sent to the Gmail account as available and remove after 30 days.
- Conduct bi-annual Jobs Salary Survey of membership to publish in the member’s only section of the website, and the newsletter.
- Disseminate jobs research-related information and answer questions for members as needed.
Newsletter Chair:
- Publish Quarterly Newsletter (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall) with content including but not limited to:

- Member Shout Out
- Send an email to PAATA membership and board asking for submissions approximately one month before publication, and an additional email one week before publication due dates.
- Assist taking pictures at PAATA events to include summaries of events or delegate this task.
- Coordinate with Membership Chair to update distribution list on newsletter server as needed.
- Coordinate requests for paid advertising along with the Corresponding Secretary, PR Chair and Treasurer.
- Correspond with members regarding newsletter questions/inquiries as needed.
- Generate a digital copy of the completed newsletter each quarter to be added to the archives.
