PAATA is excited to invite eligible students to apply for the Diversity Grant, an opportunity to receive $1,000 toward your art therapy education. This grant is intended to support students from culturally diverse backgrounds who are pursuing degrees in art therapy and working toward advancing mental health equity in their communities.

- Identify as Black/African American, Latinx/Latine/Hispanic, Asian American, Indigenous, or another culturally diverse group
- Be enrolled in a Pennsylvania bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral art therapy program
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

- Your background and goals in seeking art therapy education
- How you hope to contribute to your community’s mental health and well-being
- How you plan to address disparities in mental health care access for marginalized populations
- How this grant would support your educational journey (books, art supplies, living expenses, etc.)
- One reference letter from someone familiar with your academic background and/or work experience
